 This malt whisky surprises with an elegance and complexity far surpassing its age. The whisky shines with its fresh and fruity character and delicate smokiness. The unique qualities of this whisky come from the use of a crystal clear wort that is slowly fermented for 7 days and the slow distillation method with the relatively early cut point. After distillation the whisky had a full maturation in Tawny Port wine casks that give the whisky its beautiful color and adds to the elegant fruity notes that work so well with the delicate peaty notes.

Tasting notes:

Color: Red Gold

Nose: Beautiful balanced smokiness in the forefront combining with a red fruit freshness and some citrus in the background. Over time the peaty notes become a little more pronounced but balanced with the citrussy notes of fresh lemons and limes. 

Taste: Elegant peated aroma’s combined with orange marmelade and a trademark spiciness

Finish: Long and luscious with an elegant and pleasant smokiness
